South Kesteven District Council Improves Customer Experience With New RPA Program

South Kesteven District Council, a local authority in southwest England, faced budget pressures and rising demand for services and sought a way to raise service quality without increasing costs. After evaluating options, South Kesteven District Council chose SS&C Blue Prism’s RPA and Intelligent Automation to target high-priority areas including revenue and benefits, housing and repairs, development management and customer service.

Working with SS&C Blue Prism, the council performed a rapid assessment of more than 90 processes and deployed automations and smart forms to speed and standardize work. The program produced measurable benefits — 180+ reusable objects for partner councils, faster consistent processing, higher customer satisfaction (notably among vulnerable benefits clients), and improved employee satisfaction as teams shifted to more value-added, customer-focused activity.
