OP Financial Group Realizes Significant Cost Savings with Intelligent Automation

OP Financial Group, the largest Finnish financial services group serving nearly four million customers, set out to accelerate business agility and scale intelligent automation across compliance and finance. To support that goal they adopted SS&C Blue Prism’s intelligent automation platform but faced the challenge of centralizing and standardizing automation efforts across the organization.

OP built a 60-person Process Automation Center of Excellence to manage and develop the Blue Prism platform and automation best practices; with SS&C Blue Prism they automated over 300 processes, cut average development time from 21 to 9 weeks, and achieved €1.5 million in savings in the first year and more than €40 million cumulatively, while delivering more than 1,000 years of customer time savings.
