NUHS Brings on a Digital Workforce to Handle COVID-19 Test Registrations

NUHS (National University Health System) in Singapore faced a sudden surge in COVID-19 testing—up to 1,000 swab tests per day—while registration took around two minutes per test and results still needed rapid dissemination across national networks. To accelerate operations, NUHS engaged SS&C Blue Prism and its digital workers through the vendor’s COVID-19 Response Program.

SS&C Blue Prism deployed digital workers in one week, cutting registration time from two minutes to 30 seconds per test (saving about 18 work-hours per day), enabling faster result delivery to medical and IT systems, and processing more than 27,000 patient records; frontline staff were freed to focus on patient care. The rapid deployment and measurable time savings demonstrate SS&C Blue Prism’s clear impact on NUHS’s pandemic response.
