To gain an edge, Npower became an early adopter of intelligent automation, deploying SS&C Blue Prism’s Blue Prism platform beginning in 2008 to drive efficiency at scale.
SS&C Blue Prism worked with Npower to implement a three‑phase governance model—demand and prioritization, development, and run—with dedicated teams for each stage, enabling rapid, repeatable delivery. The approach led to 250 automated processes, a new automation roughly every five weeks (quadrupling prior output), and digital workers processing a peak of 18 million transactions in a year, demonstrating significant operational scale and throughput.
