Loadsmart Reduces Operational Waste, Saves $800K With Intelligent Automation

Loadsmart, a data-driven freight optimization platform, needed to reduce operational waste and prove the value of intelligent automation amid rising fuel costs, capacity constraints and shifting regulations. To streamline operations and build internal support for automation, Loadsmart engaged Reveal Group to deploy SS&C | Blue Prism Cloud from SS&C Blue Prism as part of a proof of concept and broader automation program.

Using SS&C Blue Prism technology and Reveal Group’s support, Loadsmart established a Center of Excellence, built governance using the ROM2 framework, and delivered six automations in six months. The pre-pickup carrier email automation alone cut average margin decay per load by about 29.63% (saving $648,000 per year) and the program drove an $800,000 annualized impact on gross profits, demonstrating rapid time-to-value for SS&C Blue Prism.
