Jabil, a global manufacturer with more than 100 facilities in 30 countries, needed to reduce repetitive, high-volume customer service work that was hurting employee satisfaction and slowing operations across 70 factories and 450 contract manufacturing customers. To address this, Jabil partnered with SS&C Blue Prism to adopt intelligent automation (IA), building a federated (hub-and-spoke) Center of Excellence guided by the SS&C | Blue Prism Robotic Operating Model 2 to empower regional citizen developers and improve operational efficiency.
Using SS&C Blue Prism’s digital workforce and Professional Services support, Jabil trained 100 SMEs, certified 12 citizen developers, and moved 14 processes into production with 20 more in the pipeline, returning 34,000 hours to the business. The automation sped delivery-document processing by 96%, allowed planners to update commitments for 100+ SKUs, and delivered $75,000 in monthly savings while boosting employee retention and customer satisfaction.
