Intelligent Automation Helps National Police Force Meet ESG Goals

The National Police Force sought to meet ambitious environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals while improving community policing and reducing repetitive administrative work. To achieve better collaboration with other government entities and free officers to focus on citizens, they partnered with SS&C Blue Prism and its digital workforce and hyperautomation tools (including SS&C | Blue Prism Desktop, AI/ML, OCR and process mining).

SS&C Blue Prism expanded a finance proof-of-concept into a CoE-driven hyperautomation program that now supports more than 60 internal teams. The vendor’s digital workers process roughly 8,000 occupational injury reports a year, extract and route criminal-justice and anonymous-tip information, and save about 35,000 staff hours annually—enabling faster responses to domestic violence reports, higher staff satisfaction and greater police presence for improved public safety.
