HomeBrace, a building‑automation specialist in Urbach, needed to add reliable device-status feedback to its MyBrace app so users could see whether lights, blinds or appliances were on or off. To achieve this they deployed Eaton’s xComfort sensors and actuators and partnered with SS&C Blue Prism to integrate those devices with the MyBrace‑Controller and app.

The solution uses Eaton xComfort actuators to report device status back to the MyBrace‑Controller, which relays real‑time feedback to the MyBrace app (signals transmit in about 0.1 seconds over 868 MHz and link to networks via TCP/IP). With SS&C Blue Prism’s integration support, HomeBrace delivered a wireless, easily retrofittable system that eliminated complex wiring, enabled remote access, and produced a user‑friendly interface—improving flexibility and accessibility for older and disabled users.
