To avoid costly system replacements, KFM engaged SS&C Blue Prism and deployed intelligent automation using digital workers alongside optical character recognition (OCR) to bridge the technology gap.
SS&C Blue Prism’s digital workers read, convert and upload invoice data into compatible formats across the hospital network, eliminating repetitive manual entry and allowing staff to focus on negotiating preferred supplier agreements. The solution processes roughly 1,000 pharmacy invoices per month, has enabled KFM to automate 30 additional processes across procurement, HR, finance, supply chain and technician support, and delivered greater flexibility and measurable cost savings.
