AJ Bell Automates One Process Each Week, Increases Employee Productivity with IA

AJ Bell, one of the U.K.’s largest investment companies, set out to streamline operations and scale resilience by embedding intelligent automation across end-to-end processes. To drive adoption and tie automations into core systems, AJ Bell partnered with SS&C Blue Prism, building an IA program guided by the SS&C Blue Prism Robotic Operating Model (ROM 2) and leveraging the SS&C Blue Prism digital workforce and supporting tools.

Using SS&C Blue Prism’s ROM 2 approach, AJ Bell mapped a core automation team to the ROM foundations, promoted internal business experts into IA roles, and deployed digital workers (including a scheduling/health-check bot called “Conductor”), plus capabilities such as Decipher, Interact, Capture and assets from the Digital Exchange. The result: an average of one new automated process implemented each week, 51% time savings, a 30% efficiency gain in the top 20 processes, fewer exceptions and faster handling of peak volumes—demonstrating clear productivity and time-to-market gains with SS&C Blue Prism.
