Automation Speeds Judicial Decision Making for Spain’s Ministry of Justic

The Ministry of Justice Spain needed to modernize slow, paper-based judicial and citizenship processes to improve service quality, reduce backlogs, and support digital transformation goals. To do this, it partnered with SS&C Blue Prism and implemented intelligent automation with an SS&C Blue Prism digital workforce.

SS&C Blue Prism helped the Ministry establish a Center of Excellence and automate more than 30 processes, including nationality application checks and payment-order workflows. The results were significant: nationality processing became 80% faster, case handling dropped from up to five years to under a year in many cases, more than 3.9 million applications were processed, 1.1 million hours were saved, and over €16 million in cost savings were achieved.
