Dominion Energy Connects Field Workers to Knowledge They Need to Stay Safe

Dominion Energy, a major U.S. energy producer serving 7.5 million customers across 18 states with over 21,000 employees, faced a critical knowledge challenge: field workers often struggled to find relevant safety policies, procedures and past alerts, leaving leaders uncertain that essential information was being used in the field.

To address this, Dominion deployed Bloomfire in its Power Delivery group to centralize safety documentation, enable keyword search and category navigation, and provide mobile access to manuals and training videos (with searchable transcripts). The platform sped up information retrieval, broke down content silos, improved on-the-job safety and training, and was adopted across other teams company-wide.
