Ministry of Housing, City and Territory of Colombia automates water services subsidy process in just 10 days to support over 2 million residents in rural areas

The Ministry of Housing, City and Territory of Colombia, supported by partner Supportical, needed to rapidly deliver water service subsidies to rural families economically affected by COVID-19. The challenge was to create a fast, transparent digital process for subsidy application, approval and payment authorization to reach more than 2 million rural residents.

An automated subsidy workflow was designed and deployed in a record 10 days, fully integrated with the document management system and enabling real-time monitoring and transparent approval management. The rollout trained 1,700 rural water providers and will benefit over two million inhabitants by streamlining payments and oversight.
