A Bizagi Case Study
Banco de Occidente, one of Colombia’s largest banks, set out to create a connected, insight-driven and secure hybrid customer experience while boosting productivity and modernizing its technology architecture. The bank needed to re-engineer core banking and legacy systems, balance user experience with data security, and enable new ways of working to serve both fully digital customers and those who prefer assisted interactions.
Using Bizagi’s low-code platform with BPM and RPA, Banco de Occidente digitized and automated end-to-end processes, integrated legacy systems and customer channels, and built security and fraud guardrails into workflows. The project delivered holistic customer lifecycle management, new digitally native products (like digital wallets), reduced manual effort and greater end-to-end visibility, while enabling a seamless hybrid online/offline experience and supporting a move to the cloud.
