Insurer uses Bizagi BPMS to crack down on vehicle fraud

Prose-Chile is a support company created by the 11 main Chilean insurers (together covering over 90% of the market) to centralize and streamline vehicle-theft claims. Its key challenges were to consolidate reports from all insurers, validate and control data quickly, eliminate duplication and errors, speed up processing to improve vehicle recovery, and reduce fraud and duplicate payments.

To solve this, Prose-Chile implemented Bizagi BPMS with local partner PRAGMA, automating validation against the Civil Registry, electronically reporting thefts to the Carabineros, and integrating systems via an SOA layer with alerts and a single information repository. The rollout delivered rapid results: 90% sector adoption, a 17% increase in vehicle recovery, 160 recovered vehicles in the early months, fewer errors and duplicate claims, and timely, accurate reporting to all 11 insurers.
