Insight Investment launches process engineering Center of Excellence to deliver visibility & process improvement across the organization

Insight Investment, a UK-based asset manager (managing £740bn and part of BNY Mellon), faced the challenge of running highly bespoke, complex end-to-end processes that span 20+ teams. The firm needed greater transparency, stronger controls and reduced reliance on institutional knowledge while preserving agility to support continued growth and manage operational risk.

To address this it established a Process Engineering Center of Excellence, built a dual-location onshore/offshore team and selected Bizagi for process discovery, modelling and low-code automation, complemented by Tableau for visualization. Using agile delivery and custom integrations (Salesforce, Azure AD, Symphony), the team has delivered 20 Bizagi applications and 9 Tableau dashboards, enabling reliable hand-offs, improved process visibility and governance, horizontal process ownership and ongoing incremental improvements (with robotics and further digitalization planned).
