Colpensiones, the Colombian pension management organization, needed to launch a new state pension system that was agile, paperless, and customer-focused. It also had to standardize processes, clear major backlogs of lawsuits and complaints, and control costs while supporting millions of citizens. Bizagi helped Colpensiones with process management for the newly created entity.

Bizagi designed and implemented the solution, automating more than 120 processes in just 9 months. The result was a high-performing, transparent system supporting 6.5 million citizens, processing up to 10 million transactions and 1 million payments per month, and delivering real-time information to 92 offices across 50 cities. Bizagi also helped Colpensiones substantially reduce operating costs and improve service quality.
