The Chilean Insurance Syndicate, a support organization formed by the country’s 11 main insurers (covering over 90% of the market), faced a fast‑growing problem of stolen vehicles, rising errors from manual reporting and duplicate or fraudulent claims. They needed a single, reliable system to validate plate and policy data, streamline claims monitoring and improve the speed and accuracy of theft reporting.

Using Bizagi BPM (implemented with PRAGMA), the syndicate centralized more than one million records, automated end‑to‑end validation with the Chilean Civil Registry, and integrated electronic reporting to the Carabineros for searches and recoveries. The rollout delivered a 17% increase in vehicle recovery, broad industry adoption, fewer handling errors and fraud, faster processing of thefts (including 160 recoveries in early months) and better analytics on high‑risk makes and models.
