Bancolombia, a leading Colombian bank, faced the challenge of maintaining its competitive position by improving customer and employee experience while reducing manual work, compliance risk, and process complexity across the enterprise. The bank needed to automate core processes, free staff from repetitive tasks, and accelerate digital transformation without disrupting service.
Bancolombia implemented Bizagi as an orchestration layer combined with Automation Anywhere RPA and Bizagi Live Processes, creating over 1,700 processes (including 24 complex ones). This accelerated deployments, cut core processes from 3–6 months to about four hours, increased branch service efficiency by 59% across 639 branches, freed some 515,000 hours per year, and reduced operational risk by 28%.
