Audi Japan KK, the flagship Audi dealer network in Tokyo, faced rising inefficiencies after rapid growth: manual, paper-based approval workflows (including multi-level approvals for $5M+ budgets) caused delays, back-dated approvals, and heavy reliance on phone/email, leaving staff little time for core work and limiting visibility and control.
Audi Japan implemented Bizagi BPM Suite to automate its Request for Approval process and six more workflows (travel, PO creation, payments, car management, etc.). The web portal, conditional routing, ERP integration and automated document generation streamlined approvals and tracking. Results included a 60-hour weekly reduction in admin work, up to 70% faster processing, real-time budget control, improved reporting and governance, and simplified management of 600+ vehicles—with BPM adopted across multiple processes and 80 users.
