AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co. Ltd (ACSA), a Hong Kong financial services firm, faced a slow, paper-based credit card application process that took over two weeks from branch form to card in hand. Manual data entry, high error rates and costly secure storage slowed approvals and reduced staff productivity, so ACSA set out to speed approvals, reduce paper and enable on-the-spot card issuance.

ACSA implemented Bizagi with partner Fuji Xerox to digitize and automate the workflow, using tablets for data capture and integrating with its AS400 core system, a rules engine, TransUnion and membership portal (with OCR planned). The automated process cuts data capture to about 5 minutes and delivers approved, embossed credit cards in under 30 minutes, eliminates paper handling, boosts accuracy and staff efficiency, and has been reused to enable instant “no‑show” loan decisions and fulfilment via mobile.
