Adidas selects Bizagi for its flexibility and ease of use

adidas, the global sports footwear and apparel manufacturer, needed to modernize and automate a large number of manual, email- and spreadsheet-driven workflows across supply chain, marketing, finance, retail and eCommerce. The company sought a BPM solution that supported BPMN, SharePoint integration, agile development and ease of use to improve operational efficiency, traceability and supplier collaboration—notably to connect 500 sales operations with over 400 factories and manage some 5,000 purchase-order changes per month.

After a proof-of-concept and vendor evaluation, adidas selected Bizagi as its model-driven orchestration platform, integrating it with SharePoint and establishing a central Workflow Solutions Team. In two years the program delivered 23 workflow projects (7 live), automated 25 processes used by 3,000 internal users with 346,000 cases per year, cut trade vendor onboarding time by 50%, reduced a supply chain headcount by 60%, sped contract approvals to two days, and achieved all this in roughly one-quarter of traditional development time.
