Forsyte I.T. Solutions, a Microsoft Gold partner, was hired by a large East Coast community college serving over 74,000 students across six campuses to resolve a split Office 365 environment that limited collaboration and blocked planned rollouts of Teams and Microsoft Bookings. Forsyte worked with BitTitan and selected BitTitan’s MigrationWiz to tackle a complex consolidation that included 145,000 mailboxes, 12,000 OneDrive accounts (3 TB of data) and 400 early Teams users within a tight two-week migration window.

Using a pre-stage cutover approach and MigrationWiz, Forsyte and BitTitan migrated mailboxes, OneDrive data and Teams workloads while optimizing throughput to mitigate throttling and keep disruption to a minimum, leaving only the most recent 30 days of mail for final cutover. The project delivered a complete transition to a single Office 365 tenant in time for fall classes—migration of 145,000 mailboxes, 12,000 OneDrive accounts and 3 TB of data—with minimal downtime and restored the college’s ability to use Teams and Bookings across faculty and students.
