Exakis Nelite Leverages BitTitan to Complete Large Divestiture Migration on Tight Timeline

Alstom, a global integrated transport system leader, had to rebuild its IT department after General Electric’s acquisition of two peripheral business units, including a company-wide migration from BPOS-D to Office 365. With only nine months before the end of the Transitional Service Agreement and a much tighter domain handoff than expected, Alstom turned to Exakis Nelite and BitTitan for help.

Exakis Nelite used BitTitan MigrationWiz to move mail, calendars, contacts, and notes with date-based filtering through regional Azure data centers in Europe. Working with a five-person team, Exakis Nelite migrated 36,000 users and 40,000 mailboxes totaling 140 terabytes of data, completed the primary migration in under a month, and cut over the alstom.com domain with minimal impact on the business.
