Wake ENT, a two-location ear, nose and throat practice in Cary and Sanford, partnered with Birdeye to modernize patient outreach and review management. Faced with time-consuming manual review collection and the need to stay connected with patients and prospective patients—especially after the COVID shutdown—Wake ENT adopted Birdeye’s Listings, Reviews, Interactions (including Webchat) and an Athenahealth integration to automate review requests and centralize communications.
Birdeye implemented automated review collection, Webchat for 24/7 inquiries and appointment booking, a unified Inbox, Receptionist auto-replies, and Mass Text for bulk announcements. The result was less manual effort for staff, faster response times, and measurable patient acquisition gains as Webchat converted many prospects into booked appointments; Birdeye also enabled timely reopening notifications and ensured no patient messages went unanswered.
