Academy Mortgage faced online invisibility: although clients were satisfied, there was little public proof for the company’s seven loan officers, and generic brand-level reviews from their agency didn’t build trust in individual practitioners. In 2016 Academy Mortgage engaged BirdEye and began using BirdEye’s review-generation and review-marketing tools (CRM integration, automated email/SMS requests, and site-specific review integrations).
BirdEye integrated with Academy’s CRM to automate email and SMS review requests and to surface officer- and branch-level review feeds; the campaigns averaged ~25% email response and ~35% SMS response (some as high as 46%). Results included rapid review growth (6x on Google, 3x on Facebook, 2x overall), most employees at least doubled review volume (one 10x), all earned a 4.7+ rating, and indexed reviews enabled Google Seller Ratings that increased ad click-through rates by up to 17%.
