EF English Live, the global leader in international education, needed a faster way to produce multilingual email campaigns across 30+ languages and multiple formats, including right-to-left layouts. Their existing HTML-based workflow in their ESP was slow, manual, and difficult to scale, with campaigns taking about four days to build and most of the team’s time consumed by production work. Bird (formerly MessageBird) was brought in with Taxi for Email to help streamline the process.
Bird implemented Taxi for Email, integrating it with EF English Live’s sending platforms and creating an on-brand Email Design System with modular templates, multilingual support, and granular team permissions. The result was a dramatic improvement: campaign build time dropped from four days to four hours, time to build campaigns decreased by 95%, and the team shifted from spending 80% of their time building emails to 80% of their time optimizing them.
