Billtrust implemented its collections capabilities alongside existing invoicing, payments and cash application tools—standing up Billtrust Collections in under 30 days—and expanded automation across communications and payments. The results included 68% electronic invoicing, $5 million automated through BPN, a 76% lockbox match rate, a threefold increase in account coverage, 83% of customer communications automated, customer response rates rising from 1% to 7%, and monthly collections exceeding prior highs by $1 million, while eliminating outsourced collectors and related PCI concerns.
