Professional Services organization expands global e-invoicing capabilities

EY Global Services, the technology arm of Ernst & Young, faced a fragmented e‑invoicing landscape during its global SAP ERP rollout, with local tax mandates and client demand forcing country‑by‑country solutions. To consolidate and scale a single, compliant approach, EY Global Services engaged Billtrust for a unified e‑invoicing platform and connectivity (PEPPOL, Ariba, Tungsten, AP portals, email/print/portal delivery).

Billtrust and EY Global Services created a joint implementation team to map requirements, deliver a “best practice” data file to country portals, run end‑to‑end testing, UAT and hyper‑care, and onboard clients. The Billtrust implementation simplified technical integration, reduced implementation timelines and manual work across finance and client teams, improved employee and customer experience, and helped prepare EY Global Services for upcoming EU e‑billing regulations.
