Case Study: Goodman Air Conditioning and Heating achieves projected $600K in savings with Billtrust digital invoicing and payments

Manufacturer uses digital invoicing and payment solutions to secure savings

Goodman Air Conditioning and Heating, a manufacturer working with thousands of local HVAC dealers across North America, needed to reduce high mailing costs by moving from paper to digital invoice presentment. Goodman had contracted with Billtrust since 2013 to manage invoice presentment and in 2019 launched a corporate initiative to increase customer adoption of digital invoicing using Billtrust’s services.

Working with Billtrust, Goodman implemented Billtrust’s digital invoicing and payments solutions and leveraged Billtrust’s eSolutions Team and the Billtrust Business Directory (BBD) to run two campaigns (Q4 2019 and Q1 2020) targeting 805 customers. The campaigns delivered an 86% average conversion rate, grew digital invoice recipients from 13% to 62% (a 376% increase in one year), and are projected to save Goodman about $600,000 over three years.
