CDW, a Fortune 500 technology solutions provider serving business, government, education and healthcare customers, faced a scaling challenge: mailing over 300,000 paper invoices per month with only 3% delivered electronically, creating high postage costs and inefficient invoicing processes. To address diverse customer billing preferences and streamline order-to-cash, CDW partnered with Billtrust and began using Billtrust Invoicing to offer digital invoice delivery.

Billtrust implemented digital invoicing (with its eSolutions Team), Billtrust Cash Application (machine learning for payment matching) and later the Billtrust Business Payments Network for virtual card capture. As a result, electronic presentment rose to 80%, postage savings exceeded $2M, straight-through processing improved from 58% to 79%, and an additional 12,000 payments are matched monthly — accelerating collections and supporting CDW’s continued growth.
