HDI Global Insurance, a global insurer operating in over 150 countries, faced an AR process built on a manual homegrown system that offered little visibility into outstanding invoices, required time‑intensive cash application, left brokers with no online access to invoices or disputes, and produced unapplied payments that hurt cash flow. To address these challenges, HDI Global selected Billtrust and began with Billtrust Invoicing and Payments (plus support from Billtrust’s eSolutions Team).

Billtrust implemented an online broker portal, drove digital adoption, automated payment matching with Billtrust Cash Application, and added Billtrust Collections to streamline outreach. As a result of Billtrust’s solutions, HDI Global achieved 100% electronic invoice presentment, a single online invoice portal, a 40% reduction in unapplied cash and a 5‑day reduction in DSO, along with improved reporting and reduced manual effort.
