Torrington Supply, Connecticut’s largest independent wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC supplies, was struggling with a manual billing process that couldn’t scale as the business grew. To automate accounts receivable and accelerate collections, Torrington partnered with Billtrust and adopted Billtrust’s invoice delivery solutions, including electronic and paper delivery and a branded online billing portal.

Billtrust implemented automated invoice delivery (email, fax and an online portal) with nightly ERP integration and a Torrington-branded 24/7 self-service site. As a result, Torrington reduced A/R costs by more than 35%, increased electronic delivery to 50% of bills within two months (47% overall), enabled faster payments, and delivered higher customer satisfaction through Billtrust’s solution.
