Case Study: Daikin Comfort achieves $600K projected savings and 62% digital invoice adoption with Billtrust

Daikin Comfort Technologies North America Manufacturer uses digital invoicing and payment solutions to secure savings

Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, a manufacturer of HVAC equipment working with thousands of local contractors, needed to reduce mailing costs and move customers off paper invoices. Daikin had worked with Billtrust since 2013 for invoice presentment and in 2019 launched a push to increase adoption of Billtrust’s digital invoicing and payments solutions.

Working with Billtrust’s eSolutions Team and using the Billtrust Business Directory, Daikin ran two targeted campaigns (Q4 2019 and Q1 2020) covering 805 customers and achieved an average conversion rate of 86%. One year after the first campaign, digital invoice recipients rose from 13% to 62% (a 376% increase), and Daikin expects more than $600,000 in savings over three years thanks to Billtrust’s solution.
