WORLDPAC, an automotive parts distributor with 100+ facilities, faced slow collections and time-consuming manual processing of single-use virtual credit cards that increased DSO and hurt cash flow. To give customers more flexibility for receiving, viewing and paying invoices, WORLDPAC partnered with Billtrust, implementing Billtrust’s automated invoicing and payments solutions—including a customer portal, account summary screen and the Business Payments Network (BPN).

Using Billtrust’s portal, account summary and BPN, WORLDPAC shifted 49% of invoices to electronic delivery, drove a 27% digital payment rate (an 80% increase in three months), and reduced average DSO to 27 days. Billtrust’s BPN automated $16M in payments in H1 2020, made payments 3.5 days faster than other channels, and helped WORLDPAC save about $170,000 annually in card processing fees.
