Con’ Olio Oils & Vinegars, founded by Jeff and Tabatha Conarko after a 2007 trip to Italy, is a specialty tasting-room and retail business based in Austin with multiple brick-and-mortar locations. As demand grew, their first self-built ecommerce site proved difficult to update and lacked essential features—marketing tools, shipping integrations, inventory and customer management—so they needed a low‑cost, scalable platform to expand online.

In 2013 they moved to BigCommerce, leveraging built‑in marketing, Mailchimp integration, real‑time shipping rates, and analytics. The platform made site management easier, improved customer targeting, and helped them stop losing money on shipping; online sales rose 20%. Better reporting and integrations also positioned Con’ Olio to expand into new markets while reducing operating strain.
