Temporis, a 20-seat, seasonally focused fine-dining restaurant in Chicago run by co-chefs Sam Plotnick and Don Young, needed a way to share frequent menu changes and manage reservations with a very small staff. To solve those challenges they turned to BentoBox, using its email newsletter platform, online reservations system, and a BentoBox-designed website and backend to present menus, policies, and updates clearly.

BentoBox built a clean website, an easy-to-update backend, an email newsletter channel for announcing one-to-two weekly/monthly menu changes, and an online reservation flow with push notifications and shared visibility for staff. As a result, Temporis improved guest communication, maintained an air of mystery around its menu, made shift planning simpler for a four- to five-person team, and significantly reduced phone-staffing costs — all enabled by BentoBox.
