The Community Group, a private nonprofit serving employees across education and child care programs, struggled to get staff engaged with its wellness and lifestyle benefits. Benepass helped The Community Group launch a centralized, customizable LSA program with categories like fitness, food and grocery, mental health, parent support, and more. Employees can use virtual and physical cards, roll funds over each month up to $1,200 annually, and track spending in the app, while HR avoids reimbursements and manual administration. The result has been stronger engagement, easier administration, and improved retention and recruiting, with the program reaching a 71% engagement rate and giving the nonprofit a low-lift way to offer a major benefit.
