Bright HealthCare, a Minneapolis-based healthcare company that grew to more than 3,000 employees, needed a simpler way to manage employee benefits as it scaled and shifted to a more distributed, partly remote workforce. Its existing benefits spending vendors were clunky, and the company wanted to add a lifestyle spending account (LSA) plus more flexible support for both professional and personal well-being.
Benepass helped Bright HealthCare launch and administer its BrighterLife program, centralizing pre-tax benefits and the LSA in one platform with a Workday integration, payment card access, and mobile app support. With Benepass, Bright HealthCare achieved a 93% LSA engagement rate, expanded eligible wellness categories at no additional cost, improved the employee experience, and realized about $250K in annual cost savings from the LSA.
