Renesis Tech reduced its time-to-hire while engaging candidates with games

Renesis Tech, a tech startup in Pakistan’s IT sector, needed a faster remote recruitment process during COVID-19 to shortlist candidates without in-person meetings and better identify hard skills and personality traits. They worked with Benchmark.games and its game-based assessment product, CurioCity, to help HR screen candidates more independently and improve the candidate experience.

Benchmark.games implemented a tailored 15-minute CurioCity assessment, starting with a pilot for IT internship candidates and later expanding it to other roles. The approach produced a shortlist within 48 hours and reduced time-to-hire from about one week to 2–3 days, while also increasing candidate satisfaction with the process.
