Valspar Sees Success Responding To Consumers In The Retail Channel

Valspar, a 200‑year‑old leader in paints and coatings, sells most of its products through retail partners and needed a way to reach shoppers where purchase intent is highest. The company’s challenge was limited access to consumers on retailer sites to influence buying decisions and answer product questions close to the point of sale.

Using Bazaarvoice Connections, Valspar syndicated thousands of on‑site reviews to a major retailer and began responding to customer questions directly on the retailer’s site.
