Seaweed Bath Co., founded in 2010 by a husband-and-wife team, makes nutrient-rich seaweed-based skin, hair, and personal-care products. As a young brand in a crowded category, it struggled to build awareness and consideration on retail e-commerce sites where shoppers heavily rely on authentic product reviews.
