Absolution Cosmetics, founded in Paris in 2009, is an organic skincare brand that sells through retailers, spas, and its own website. After a rebrand, Absolution turned to Bazaarvoice and its Ratings & Reviews API to build brand awareness, strengthen customer loyalty, and increase sales with a more seamless user-generated content experience.
Bazaarvoice helped Absolution implement an automated review strategy that combined always-on sweepstakes, targeted product sampling, and integration with email, loyalty, and gamification tools. The results included over 400 new reviews from sampling, a 313% increase in product reviews, email click-through rates rising from 11% to 19%, and $107K in revenue directly attributed to Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews, with revenue per visitor and customer engagement also improving significantly.
