Takeya increases sales on retailer sites by 30%

Takeya, the insulated water bottle and pitcher manufacturer, was looking for a way to support rapid growth by increasing the quality, volume, and reach of customer content across its own site and retailer channels. Working with Bazaarvoice, Takeya used user-generated content (UGC) such as ratings, reviews, and social content to help prove product quality and boost sales on Target.com and other retail sites.

Bazaarvoice helped Takeya syndicate content across the Bazaarvoice Network and gather visual UGC from social channels for product pages. The results were strong: Takeya estimated that adding more reviews to Target.com increased sales by 30%, and on its own site UGC drove a 58% conversion lift and 40% higher revenue per visitor among review readers.
