eSpares is the UK’s leading spare-parts retailer, selling over 500,000 products from more than 500 manufacturers and providing how-to videos to help customers fix appliances themselves. Because appliance spare parts prompt many product-specific questions, eSpares needed a reliable way to give shoppers clear answers and boost buying confidence.
In 2008 eSpares implemented Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews and Ask & Answer so customers and staff could post questions and answers on product pages. A March–April 2010 analysis showed visitors who read Q&A converted 45% more often than those who didn’t, and those who interacted with Q&A saw a 3% lift in average order value.
