Sealskinz is a UK-based endurance accessories brand that makes waterproof, windproof and breathable gear and partners with elite athletes to ensure performance. Facing a niche market with few direct comparators and limited advertising resources, the company needed a way to educate consumers and retailers, build trust, and turn site visitors into customers.

By using Bazaarvoice Conversations to collect and publish reviews, syndicate content to retailers, and feed ratings to Google, Sealskinz boosted shopper confidence and conversion: visitors who engaged with reviews delivered a 102.6% lift in conversion (December 2014). Syndicating 34 products across 106 retailer pages amplified reviews over fourfold; review-driven insights led to manufacturing fixes for two products and uncovered a cycling retail opportunity that generated a 2,000-pair order.
