S Group (SOK) is a Finnish, customer-owned network of retail and service companies with more than 1,800 outlets and a loyalty program that accounts for over 85% of sales. Facing the need to grow review volume and create a consistent customer journey across multiple retail brands, S Group wanted to better capture feedback from both online and high-volume offline purchases.

They partnered with Bazaarvoice to link loyalty card offline sales data to online review solicitation and analytics, using Ratings & Reviews plus moderation and reporting. The solution increased review coverage and daily fresh content (improving SEO), delivered actionable product insights, and boosted customer engagement and conversion—with 2019 data showing reviews influenced 17% of Sokos’ in‑store revenue and 1% of online revenue (and €1 of review-influenced online spend corresponding to €17 of in-store revenue).
