Rubbermaid (Newell Rubbermaid), a consumer goods manufacturer, wanted to boost revenues and deepen consumer engagement on Rubbermaid.com. To achieve this, they implemented Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews (with mobile integration and syndication) to enrich product information and enable customer conversations.

Adding Ratings & Reviews gave shoppers access to in-depth consumer feedback, and a five-week study (Dec 2009–Jan 2010) showed clear gains: review readers drove a 10% incremental increase in revenue per visit, a 5% higher average order value, a 5% higher conversion rate, and were 62% more likely to sign up for the Rubbermaid Club—extending engagement and lifetime value. Reviews also informed product changes across the business.
