River Island, the international clothing brand with 350 stores worldwide, wanted to inspire shoppers with authentic social content and make products easier to discover online. To do that, River Island worked with Bazaarvoice and used Bazaarvoice Galleries to showcase user-generated content across its website, including the homepage, product pages, and a full-page gallery.

Bazaarvoice implemented shoppable UGC and a wish list feature that let shoppers save items directly from the images without breaking their browsing flow. The results were strong: River Island saw a 184% lift in conversion rate, a 45% increase in average order value, and visitors who engaged with the UGC spent more than twice as much time browsing the site.
