MeUndies grows review volume 218% year-over-year with review request emails

MeUndies, the apparel brand known for comfortable, creative underwear and products, needed a stronger user-generated content strategy as its product lineup expanded quickly and its existing review collection approach couldn’t keep pace. MeUndies turned to Bazaarvoice, its first UGC partner, to help increase review volume, improve engagement on new products, and support discoverability and conversions.

With Bazaarvoice, MeUndies switched to In-Mail review requests, added follow-up emails and a “Write a Review” button, ran sweepstakes, and collected staff reviews, while also using Bazaarvoice to moderate reviews and power Q&A. The result was a 218% increase in approved reviews submitted through email, 111.8% more reviews collected via email, a 27% higher submission rate, and effective page view coverage rising from 88% to 94% in one month.
